What are you waiting for?

Before you are caught between a rock and a hard place, don't you think it is time to get a grip on your life and improve its flow? By that I mean, not only your financial flow but also more importantly your physical, emotional and spiritual flow.

As Betty reminded me daily: It isn't easy." No one said life was going to be easy but I do believe, if you start to improve the quality of your life by taking one step at a time gradually you will be able to improve all aspects of your life. As I have often said in my book: "Hello, is Anybody Listening," we receive messages from our intuition, our inner Source 24/7 but if we are not in tune to listen to them, we will miss the warning signs, signals and opportunities that are waiting to be realized.

So what are you waiting for? Voltaire said:"We all must accept the cards that life deals us, but once in hand, we each have the opportunity to play that hand to the best of our ability."Once again I ask you: "What are you waiting for" Are you living to the best of your ability? I encourage you not to wait like Betty did and turn your power over to those who don't have the same concern for your wellbeing as you.

It is my prayer that we can all grow old gracefully with pride, dignity and respect first from ourselves and then admired by others. We can do it if that is our choice. The process begins one day at a time and continues again each day, the moment we wake up in the morning. That is the time to speak to yourself, send love to your body remind your body how much you appreciate it and love it and begin your day feeling the beauty of your environment, your home, the earth and sky including the singing of the birds. All of these things are an extension of you. Allow them to help you feel safe and secure. I believe we all want to be free free from conflict, confusion and negative circumstances. I also believe it is within my power to enjoy this freedom till I journey to the other side. I just need to remain conscious of my goals and what I desire. It is my duty and responsibility to keep my focus and remain clear and true to me.

We are indeed programmed by society to believe that the answer lies in the hands of others. That is false! I had one woman, Joyce, just recently comment to me, "I don't think most people have the power to make their own decisions and to find their own answers. We all act and respond according to the precepts that our family heritage dictates." Joyce is a sweet middle-aged single woman who feels alone and isolated from her family. At times she can be very curt and offensive which I believe is her defense mechanism. Because she lacks self-confidence and self-respect, she lashes out, often inappropriately, due to her negative thoughts about herself, which spill out on her relationships with others. If she could substitute feelings of love for anger, trust instead of fear, hope instead of despair and kindness instead of resentment, she would change her entire demeanor and her life.

Continual criticism of self and others produces inharmonious thoughts that result in sickness and discomfort. When there is disharmony on the outside, there is also disharmony on the inside, mental, emotional and/or physical. I have said this before in this blog, man [ in the neutral sense ] greatest enemy is within himself. Man has the power to self-destruct or succeed. Therefore, I encourage you to be mindful of your words, your sentences and your thoughts. A person, who believes in himself and stands tall and knows with his heart that he has right thinking, cannot be touched or influenced by the negative thoughts of others. What you think is what you get! It is as easy as that. We were not simply born to die all of us have come to fulfill our highest potential and it is for each of us to find out what that is. Don't complicate life;it wasn't meant to be a battle. Think how "Special" you are and you will become "Special" to you!
