Taking care of your personal wellbeing.

I would like to think that the majority of people in the world would like to enjoy good health both emotional and physical.  Unfortunately we get lazy and don’t do enough to take control of our power to heal our lives so that we can reach our highest potential.

We have accepted as a society the fact that most people are suffering from ill health and excessive medication.  “The national appetite for drugs has sharpened over the past decade, driving up the number of prescriptions by two-thirds to 3.5 billion yearly, according to IMS Health, a pharmaceutical consulting company”

Society does not recognize the magnitude of the problem; strong excessive drugs are one of the causes but the drug and medical profession has not done its due diligence by acknowledging that there is indeed a deep-rooted problem of addiction and they are one of the basic causes of it.  The problem is different for each and every individual; it is important to understand that the responsibility lies with each individual.  Taking better care of your body and mind boosts your overall wellbeing! So what are you going to do about it or do you even care?

I would like to suggest some tips that just might help you re-think this issue and begin to understand that if you are expecting to improve your health and heal your life, you will need to do

something different.  No one can reach their highest potential if they do nothing to change!  Some helpful tips are:

  1. Identify your painful emotions and see where they are originating.  Are they rooted in your mind, your body or your reactions to experiences and circumstances?   When you are able to identify with the problem, you are better able to be pro-active and take the appropriate measures to work through the cause so that you can create a new outcome.

      2.

Try Meditation!  Don’t tune it out until you explore its benefits.  Meditation has the ability to quiet the mind so that you can heal the body as you listen to its messages, which will lead you to feed your soul and heal.  We all need to continually nurture our mind, body and spirit if we expect to heal our lives.  There are numerous   ways to accomplish this end result. Walks in nature, in the park, sitting by a babbling brook or a quiet mediation are just some of the ways to reduce stress and connect with your innate needs.

     3.

Routine exercise helps to release stress and tension. When you exercise, your brain releases the good chemicals called endorphins that boost your mental health and wellbeing.  Walking, jumping rope, swimming are just a few ways to accomplish this.  When I get up in the morning I feel sluggish but after I come from the gym where I do my exercise, I am completely refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to take on my day with delight.

     4.

Educate yourself in such a way that you will be more in control of your life.  Then you are better prepared to reach your highest potential as you heal your life.  There are numerous healers and those in the medical profession who have written about and shared in a clear and easy way a new approach to life by showing you how to take back your power.  One person I really admire is Dr. Bruce Lipton.  He is amazing in teaching us how we are not our DNA and how we can change our genes.  When you educate yourself, you empower yourself to change your life.

     5.

A more balance diet and less chemical foods will absolutely improve the quality of your life and help you heal your life in an amazing way!

It is important to become educated and empowered if you want to reach your highest potential and heal all aspects of your life. The power is within you to take care of your personal wellbeing.
