How do you handle difficulties
Everyday I speak to people who live in guilt, fear and doubt. They doubt their capabilities. They are fearful of the unknown and most of all they live with some form of guilt. All of these negative emotions have only one mission to keep you stuck as you continue to live in negativity. If you are one of those individuals, then I am here to tell you that you are absolutely limiting your life's potential and limiting your outcome. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot."
When I look upon my own life, there have been times when I was fearful and anxious over events of which often I could not control. But the greater question was not so much about why I could not control the situation, but rather how I was going to control my reaction to that situation. Every encounter, every experience we have in our lives is a way for us to grow and mature. In some cases, it can be something we can personally control such as a job transfer or a job change; in others it can be outside of our control like a breakup, or even death. Even the best of us cannot foretell a perfect future, but we can successfully adapt to make do with what the cards have dealt us. Change is inevitable!
Difficulties come and go but how we act and react to them is what sets us apart from the masses.
I truly believe and I know with all my heart that God, the Creator of all that is, is the Supreme Guide for our lives. God wants each one of us to experience a fulfilling and happy life and when we get off course, He/She does what ever is necessary to get us moving in the right direction again even if we feel at that moment that we are being challenged and even struggling. The important point to remember and follow is to slow down and reflect on your goals. We cannot achieve our greatness by doing the same old things over and over again. This is the time to develop new ideas and become creative. For me, I have realized that no matter how many hurdles that I jump over, I cannot give up. I have come too far to weaken and too much is at stake. Instead, that is the moment that I become stronger and more determined than ever to push forward and dig in so I can reach my mountaintop.
Maybe it is time for you too to re-evaluate your life and the choices you have made. Each one of us has a journey into the unknown. Don't let the unknown frighten you, instead embrace it and look at it as if it is an opportunity that is waiting for you to enjoy; however, that opportunity will not be realized by you if you limit your thoughts, your actions and your beliefs.
