Do you live in the spirit of excellence?
Do you do more than what is required of you or do you only do what you are obligated to do in order to get your pay check or meet your obligations? We live in a very competitive world and market place. If you are not improving yourself and taking steps to grow, you will fall behind. There is always someone out there who is more competitive than you and more highly driven to reach their goals. It is your duty to study ways to learn more, improve your skills more and be the best that you can be. If you want to be better than others and be at the top of your game, you need to work at it. There is always room for improvement. I have discovered that no matter how much I have learned, as I grow older, I understand there is still so much more for me to learn and accomplish if I want to fulfill my greatness.
Don't you want to be more effective and productive in your life possibly even look for ways that you can better yourself?
If you want to rise to your brilliance, you are the one who must have the spirit of excellence, the spirit of passion and the spirit of standing outside the box so that you can and will shine.
Take pride in yourself and in what God is giving you. Make your gifts and talents work for you. Also do your best to take care of what you own and what you put on your body. If you want to be appreciated, you, too, need to appreciate your life, your job and your body; when you do, others will treat you the way you want to be treated with respect and appreciation.
Those who have a spirit of excellence are a cut above---they want to stand out in the crowd and be noticed because they have a message to share and a voice to be heard. Don't walk around with your head low to the ground instead, stand tall with your shoulders back and be proud of who you are and what you have become.
Maybe you have always lived in an environment of mediocrity. Take the challenge to stand up to a higher level of excellence. Take pride in your physical imagine and make the time to take care of yourself. You represent a higher standard and if you don't then it is time that you should. When you have the spirit of excellence you do something not because some one is watching you but because you know that you are a person who will do the right thing even when no one is watching. You may even fight with yourself and feel tired but do it anyway because you are a person of character.
If you cannot pass the small test, how do you expect to do bigger and better things? We can always slide through life, go undiscovered and no one will know the difference except you! Remember what I frequently say: "You always have choices ." And whether you realize it or not---some one is watching you and seeing what you are doing, I call that someone your Higher Self, your Inner Source. I suggest however not to do something because someone is watching you---do it because you have chosen to make a decision to be better because you have a spirit of excellence and that spirit states: "You are not compromising with your life, your time and your job----you are choosing to outclass your peers."
Are you distinguishing yourself and going the extra mile? If that is something that you want to aspire towards, then I suggest that you just might need to be more exceptional in the way you treat people---the way you do your job and the way you behave. When you reach up and stand tall as you seek a higher standard, God will give you more wisdom, some great ideas and a healthier attitude for a better life. Please don't get lazy and sloppy with your life or with
your attitude, behavior or environment---instead seek a higher standard and live by it. Don't get stuck in your life but instead---reach farther and improve your potentiality. And don't do something just because you are being watched and observed. Rise to a higher standard for yourself and perform your tasks because you want to do the best job that represents you and your spirit of excellence.
