When someone does us wrong, we want to get even and let the world know about the evil side of that person. While you may be right in feeling upset or hurt about the bad behavior of others, I believe our Heavenly Father would prefer for us to swallow our pride and turn the other cheek.

It is impossible for you to have all the advantages that life has to offer if you don’t believe it is possible for you and that it belongs to you too! Do you need to gain the approval of others in order to be satisfied and content in life? Many people are still seeking the approval of their parents. They long for them to say they are okay, valued and respected. Deep down we are all longing to be approved of, appreciated and acknowledged so today, I ask you to think about it and if there is one or several persons who need to hear those words, share them willingly now.
Would it be so much better in the world if we could use our words to build up instead of tear down? Each one of us should be conscious of how we use words on a daily basis. We use words all the time to communicate, to inspire, to hurt and to express love. We need to become more aware of our tone of voice, our body language and how we express our feelings. It would serve each one of us more if we refused to let any evil talk come out of our mouths.
So often we are seeking after something that already exists. The problem is that we have been looking in the wrong places for our inner peace, contentment and answers to our problems.
This is a question that many people ask themselves daily Are you on a journey or a treadmill? We are all busy and overwhelmed by the high speed of progress, speed on the highways and the information age which forces us to keep up or forever be lost in the abyss. The more you are willing to slow down and understand this question, the more you will begin to have a better understanding of yourself.
Unfortunately we too often tend to limit our enthusiasm because we don't recognize its worth.If we are not feeling excited, encouraged or even joyful, we tend to dampen our spirits. If we give in to our negative emotions and feelings we actually begin settling for a life of laziness, discontent and worst of all apathy.
There is definitely a downside to our lack of enthusiasm and it is called increased fear, worry and anger; all of which is negative and down right destructive to human growth.
In different periods of my life when I have been challenged, disappointed or down right shocked, I often thought of the story of Job in the Bible. He had it all wealth, family, abundance and good health and then a twist and turn came in his life and he lost everything including his family and was left with absolutely nothing.
In life, there are 2 voices the voice of faith and the other is the voice of defeat. If you listen to the wrong voice, you may be trapped by your words. Don't give your life to defeat or mediocrity. The voice of faith says, I am a victor not a victim and that voice give you encouragement and support.
